Alex is a postdoctoral fellow at the ANU School of Philosophy.

He did his PhD at the ANU from 2012-2016. Before commencing his PhD candidature at ANU, he did his undergraduate work at the University of Queensland.

He works primarily in philosophy of mind and metaphysics but he is also interested in, among other things, philosophy of language, philosophical logic and aesthetics.

His PhD thesis is about intentional identity and the content of intentional states (beliefs, fears, etc.).
