Geoff Brennan from the School of Philosophy is  this year's recipient of the Economic Society of Australia's Distinguished Fellow Award, "to honour distinguished Australian economists for their contribution to the development of economics" . There is only one such award each year. It was announced and conferred at the recent Australian Conference of Economists held in Perth.
