Friday 17 April 2020

Philosophy PhD Student, Heather Browning, has been successful in attaining a Research Officer position with The London School of Economics in animal sentience and welfare.  This topic is very closely linked to Heather's own thesis, you can watch her spectacular three-minute thesis presentation here:  https://philosophy.cass.anu.edu.au/media/anu-3mt-2018-heather-browning

Heather's new role will be focusing on Dr Jonathan Birch’s research Project, ' Foundations of Animal Sentience'. You can read more about Dr Birch’s project that Heather will be working on here: http://www.lse.ac.uk/cpnss/research/ASENT

This research is being funded by a European Research Council (ERC) grant.

Heather is due to start her new position and exciting research journey in September.
