A number of restaurants are open for lunch near the Coombs Building, including the the Gods Cafe in the Hedley Bull Centre, Vanilla Bean Cafe in the John Curtin School of Medical Research, Chats Cafe in the School of Art, Caterina’s, and Teatro Fellini at the National Film and Sound Archive. The bar and restaurant the Fellows at University House is also a popular post-talk meeting spot.

More restaurants, along with a variety of other services, such as a bike shop, bank, and post office, can be found at the ANU Union. The ANU Fitness Centre offers classes, sports clubs, and gym facilities, and a clinic and Health Services Centre is located next door. The ANU website also features a useful online billboard which lists events, notices, and classified ads.

The ANU is a fifteen minute walk from Civic, the central business district of Canberra, and parking can be difficult to find on campus. Visit the Parking and Transport website for information about mass transport, parking permits, etc.
