ANU School of Philosophy Tutor Recognised at the Vice Chancellor’s Awards for Excellence in Education
Friday 3 May 2019

Congratulations to Max Fedoseev from the ANU School of Philosophy on being awarded Excellence in Tutoring or Demonstrating as part of the Vice-Chancellor's Awards for Excellence in Education.

Max designs tutorials to help students internalise course material in a way that is conducive to deep learning.

“Often, I prepare interactive activities: sometimes games, other times real-life moral or political cases to analyse,” he says. “These activities are designed to make students engage with relevant theoretical content in small groups.”

The Australian National University, as a place of learning, is committed to encouraging and rewarding excellence in teaching. This commitment is demonstrated through the ANU Vice-Chancellor's Awards for Excellence in Education and the support of teachers and programs towards national recognition at the Australian Awards for University Teaching.

This program of work is supported by the ANU Promoting Excellence team who unearth new talent, recognise quiet achievers, reward proven performers and promote outstanding programs.
