Celebration of the Women in Philosophy

The School of Philosophy held a Women in Philosophy morning tea to celebrate the achievements of our women philosophers and welcome our new women undergraduate philosophy students.

The new students had the opportunity to get to know some of our postgraduate students and faculty members in the School of Philosophy. This event was part of our effort to build stronger bonds between undergraduate students and the more senior philosophers and to demonstrate to these undergraduate students that women are an active and welcomed part of our community.
