Feasibility and Poverty Workshop

The ANU Centre for Moral, Social and Political Theory from the School of Philosophy will be hosting a two-day workshop on Feasibility and Poverty on Monday 19 and Tuesday 20 August 2019.

The workshop is co-organised by School of Philosophy Professor and Director of the Centre for Moral, Social and Political Theory Nicholas Southwood and Professor John Dryzek from University of Canberra (UC).

The workshop is part of the activities of Nic’s ARC Future Fellowship, “Feasibility in Politics: Taking Account of Groups and Institutions” and John’s ARC Laureate Fellowship, “Deliberative Worlds: Democracy, Justice, and a Changing Earth-System.”

Speakers from the ANU School of Philosophy will also include Professor Christian Barry and Postdoctoral Fellow, Dr Mark Budolfson (ANU/Vermont).
