Gold and bronze in the 2024 Tertiary Ethics Olympiad

The ANU School of Philosophy is delighted to announce that two teams of undergraduate students were recently awarded the gold and bronze medals in the 2024 Tertiary Ethics Olympiad.

Gold-medalists: Charles Durkin, Rhianna Gallagher, Holly Wallman-Craddock, and Maia Raymond
Bronze medalists: William Smith, Lotus Luo, Mackenna Minstrel

Students from five universities (ANU, University of Melbourne, Monash University, University of Western Australia, and Macquarie University) were competing in this Third edition of the Tertiary Ethics Olympiads. The competition was held on 10 October 2024 and was hosted by the Australian Association for Professional & Applied Ethics (AAPAE). The ANU School of Philosophy acknowledges the incredible work done by PhD students Conor Leisky and Theo Murray, for their organisational work and coaching of the teams; and to Professor Garrett Cullity, guest judge.
