Balson Prize

Each year the School of Philosophy may offer an award known as the Balson Prize in Materialism and Protoconsciousness. The prize is awarded annually to the student who has submitted the best piece of written work in the area of Materialism and Protoconsciousness.

Quentin Gibson Prize

The prize shall be awarded to the student who, in that year was enrolled in that year in a program leading to the award of a degree of Bachelor in the ANU College of Arts and Social Sciences; and achieved the best result, as shown by the award of the highest mark in the course Philosophy IV Honours (PHIL4005).

Myint Zan Prize

The prize is awarded annually to the student who has submitted the best piece of written work in the area of Philosophy of Sciences.

Vis and Anjeli Nathan Travel Prize

The ANU College of Arts and Social Sciences may offer a travel grant every two years known as the Vis and Anjeli Nathan Travel Grant (Philosophy).

The objective/s of the grant is to assist a student enrolled in a full-time capacity in an undergraduate program offered by the ANU College of Arts and Social Sciences in the discipline of Philosophy.
