The workshop, sponsored by the ANU Centre for Consciousness, will focus on
the language used to describe states of consciousness and the bearing
of this linguistic analysis on the nature of consciousness. The first
day will focus on the semantics of "looks"-reports and the role of
language in describing phenomenology. The second day will focus on
the semantics of "what it is like" locutions and general issues.
