Students from the School of Philosophy recently undertook a trip to the ANU's Kioloa retreat where they attended a student-run conference. It included a variety of talks on different philosophical topics including Erick Llamas' 'Solution to the Hard Problem of Conciousness' to Susan Pennings' 'Recogniiton Respect and Health Care.'

PhD student Brenna Barker-Lamb who took part in the conference says it "is a great opportunity to test ideas in a low pressure context, and get to know our peers, all the while enjoying the natural beauty of the coast."
